Get your website ready for the first update.
You provide the business facts and authorize the website connection. Your developer or coding AI handles the installation where server or publishing access is needed.
Your setup checklist
Add the website you want to maintain
Choose coverage on the pricing page, complete payment and add the website in your customer portal. Select the pages that fit your allowance. Keep the production address and the business facts current.
Confirm ownership and business details
Complete the ownership step for that website. Describe the services or products, audience, markets and languages the analysis should use. An authenticated account is not, by itself, permission to change a website.
Give the installation instructions to the person with access
In Websites & business, use Copy instructions to your AI for the selected website, or download the instructions. You or your developer follows the route supported by your hosting. Keep connector credentials in protected server settings.
Check the connection, then activate technical updates
The static publishing connection starts paused. Complete the setup shown in the website card, review the scope and select Activate technical updates. Only enable the permission after confirming that it refers to the correct website.
After activation
Scheduled scans use the pages and cadence included in your plan. Eligible technical changes are prepared for the authorized connection, and publication status is recorded for the website. Open the website card to see its current state and next action.
AI-written customer-facing content needs approval. Advertising has its own connection and approved budget. Activating website updates does not activate either of those on your behalf.
Questions that matter during setup
Do I need Google Analytics before I can start?
Public website analysis and Google reporting access are separate. Add a reporting connection when you want the measurements available from that service. It does not replace the website publishing installation.
What if the connection is not ready?
Follow the status and instructions for the selected website before activating delivery. Compare the installation routes if you are unsure what your host permits.
Can I pause or change the permission?
You can pause new technical updates in the portal. Existing files stay in place. If you change the business profile, review and renew the permission before new proposals based on those facts are published.
